Janmashtami Celebration
Today, the festival of Janmashtami was celebrated in our school, in which all the students participated and enjoyed it. Janmashtami is a sacred festival in the Hindu religion, celebrated as the birthday of Lord Krishna. This festival falls on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the Shravan month. Devotees across the country visit temples, offer prayers, create scenes from Lord Krishna’s life, and offer sweets. Special celebrations take place in Dwarka, Mathura, and Vrindavan. At midnight, the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated, and events such as the peacock feather, flute, and the story of Krishna stealing butter are vividly portrayed. This festival reflects devotion, joy, and cultural heritage.
